Here is what buying a gecko from me includes: how it travels, what it costs to ship, what comes with it, and how to reach me before and after you buy.

## How your gecko travels

Every gecko ships FedEx Priority Overnight. Held at a FedEx hub near you. Ships Monday to Wednesday. I don't offer home delivery. Picking up at the hub means your gecko never sits on a doorstep, and you can collect it as early as possible on arrival day.

After you pay, I email you to set a ship date. When your gecko ships, I email you the FedEx tracking number.

## Ship days

I only ship Monday to Wednesday, so no box sits in a FedEx building over a weekend.

## Weather

Ships only when origin, destination and transit are 40 to 85 F. I also hold boxes back for storms and other severe weather along the way.

If it turns unsafe before your ship date, your gecko waits, and I'll set the next safe date with you. You agree to that at checkout.

## What shipping costs

Shipping is priced by FedEx zone, from Tyler, Texas to the hub you pick. Priced by distance to the FedEx hub you pick, with shipping protection included. You see the exact amount on the buy page before you pay.

I don't ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico yet.

## What every gecko comes with

- Gold Standard Gecko Club registration
- A printed lineage certificate
- Support by text, email or phone, with no time limit

## Shipping protection

Shipping protection is included: if FedEx delivers late and your gecko doesn't arrive alive, it covers the purchase price plus shipping.

It costs $2 for every $100 of coverage. Coverage is the gecko's price plus shipping, rounded up to the next $100, up to $5,000.

It doesn't pay out if FedEx delivers on time. A shipping protection claim has to be reported within 4 hours of the package being available for pickup. Tell me right away.

## Live arrival

Pick up within 2 hours of notice and tell me right away, with a photo or video, if anything is wrong. If FedEx was on time and your gecko still arrives dead, my live arrival guarantee covers it.
